Wilson River is a glorious whitewater spot in the vicinity of Trinity Lake, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not go to Bend Reservoir. For the period of the days of summer at Trinity Lake highs are mostly in the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Trinity Lake dipping       down into the 10's through winter nights. It is very arid here at Trinity Lake typically; during the month of January you get the most snow around here, and the driest of the months is July.
