Lakes are such calm sites, why not stop at Continental Lake in close proximity to Trap Lake, and you can catch a glimpse of Green Bonnet Mountain from Trap Lake. You'll discover a lovely lake called Mollies Lake near Trap Lake; if you need a spot to stay Schweitzer Mountain Resort is a wonderful choice. Throughout the long summer days at Trap Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 40's. The winter comes with highs

| | in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Trap Lake. Having a wonderful time at Trap Lake is easy. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Priest River. Trap Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; the month with most of the snow is December; the driest of the months is July.
