     Lakes are such calm sites, why not stop at Continental Lake in close proximity to Trap Lake, and you can catch a glimpse of Green Bonnet Mountain from Trap Lake. You'll discover a lovely lake called Mollies Lake near Trap Lake; if you need a spot to stay Schweitzer Mountain Resort is a wonderful choice. Throughout the long summer days at Trap Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 40's. The winter comes with highs  
   in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Trap Lake. Having a wonderful time at Trap Lake is easy. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Priest River.
Trap Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; the month with most of the snow is December; the driest of the months is July. If you came to camp Navigation Campground is a great spot to do that, and get your heart pumping on the perfect whitewater
 
               of Boundary Creek. This lake is so wonderful. The Hanna Flast Nature Trail is a wonderful hiking trail next to Trap Lake, and Trap Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Fort Cook Recreational Vehicle Park is a delightful local campground.
