This place, the Sawtooth Range, has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Camping at Smoky Bear Campground is always a good experience; the Bull Moose Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Near Toxaway Lake you locate the Yellow Belly Trail which is a delightful hiking trail; you can never get enough of the good skiing at Soldier Mountain Ski Resort. This lake is located in the       wonderful Sawtooth Range. The amount of precipitation that falls at Toxaway Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is mostly January, that's the one that snows the most, and July on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Toxaway Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Alturas Inlet Campground is a perfect local campground, and going for a hike on the Yuba River Trail is always a pleasant adventure.                  This lake is so wonderful. Be careful coming to Toxaway Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. If you need a location to stay Jerry's Country Store is a good choice, and get covered with water paddling on Salmon River. A delightful nearby hotel is Redwood Cabins, and the peaks of the Sawtooth Range dominate the scenery of this neighborhood. For the duration of the summer months here at Toxaway Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. During the winter highs are typically in the 30's while Toxaway Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. So much amusing stuff to do in the Sawtooth Range, not enough time.
