In Idaho there are many beautiful lakes, Three Lake is one of them. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Three Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Three Lake through the winter mostly plunge into the 10's. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Salmon River; you can have a splendid hiking adventure along

| | the Black Warrior Creek Trail. The yearly rainfall here at Three Lake is about average; most of the snow falls through January, and the driest of the months is July.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Grandjean Campground is a great spot to camp, and do take a hike on the Bull Moose Trail. So many cool things in the Sawtooth Range, just amazing. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Blue Rock | |

Lake; hiking along the Yellow Belly Trail is great fun. This lake is located in the wonderful Sawtooth Range.
You completely should go for Three Lake. Take a side trip to Drop Creek, and Cony Peak can be distinguished from Three
Lake. And that's not all there is to do here in the Sawtooth Range. Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument is a splendid local destination here at Three Lake. Get dripping wet paddling on Salmon River, and camping is available at Iron Creek Campground.
