Get dripping wet paddling on Salmon River. There's so much to do here at Three Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Iron Creek Campground is a magnificent place for that. For the duration of the warm months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Three Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Three Lake       are in the 10's. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Sawtooth Range. Drop Creek is near Three Lake and is always a diversion to pop by; if you came to camp Grandjean Campground is a pleasant place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail near Three Lake called the Black Warrior Creek Trail, and you can see Cony Peak from Three Lake. Three Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sawtooth Range. This lake is so wonderful.                  While you're here at Three Lake you can take a hike along the Bull Moose Trail, and you'll stumble on a picturesque lake called Limber Lake. Float down the rapids of Salmon River in a kayak, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not have a look at Meadow Lake. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Sawtooth Range, not enough time. On a great day at Three Lake you can take a hike along the Yellow Belly Trail, and if you need a site to stay Greyhawk by ResortQuest is a pleasant choice.
