So much exciting stuff to do here in the Salmon River Mountains, too brilliant to be true. A fine place for whitewater paddling near Terrace Lakes is Panther Creek, and the peak of Mount McGuire can be made out from Terrace Lakes. You can run the rapids of Camas Creek near Terrace Lakes, and hiking along the South Fork Trail is glorious fun. Crags Campground is a brilliant campground nearby,       and if you've had enough of Terrace Lakes, Sheepeater Lake is close by. This lake is so wonderful. Yellowjacket Campground is a splendid local campground, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Waterfall Trail. It is very arid here at Terrace Lakes generally; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon River Mountains. All year                  is a glorious time in the Salmon River Mountains if you adore the outdoors. For the period of the months of summer here at Terrace Lakes, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Terrace Lakes temperatures plunge to the 0's. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Terrace Lakes rocks!
