It's always fun to stop by Templeman Lake. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do right next door to Templeman Lake. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SANDPOINT NORTH is a brilliant choice, and glorious hiking is available along the Queen Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Brush Lake Campground is a nice spot to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Kootenai River

This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Templeman Lake, you could also explore charming Smith Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Danquist Trail. If only every location had this much outdoors fun things, what a great planet it would be. Drift down the rapids of Moyie River in a kayak; some of the water nearby flows, like Fern Creek. A visit to Leslie Springs will fill your spirit with good feelings; Nixon Number Two Dam has fine water | |

At Templeman Lake all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the
10's overnight here at Templeman Lake. Mirror Lake Golf Course is a brilliant golf course nearby, and Deer Lake Swamp is an interesting swamp right next door to Templeman Lake. Dawson Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by,
and don't leave Templeman Lake without first going for a hike along the Rutledge Creek Trail.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit Kootenai; why not camp at Smith Lake Campground if you're here at Templeman Lake. Templeman Lake gets
very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is frequently November, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

...me of the sites have BBQs and Picnic Tables and we sell ice, wood, charcoal, pop, snacks and some RV hookup supplies. Here are a couple of great hikes to add to the site:
Snowcreek Falls, Naples, Idaho. Directions: Go north from Sandpoint on Highway 95 to Naples. Turn left on the old highway 95 and go about 5 miles, passing the Deep Creek Inn. You will cross a railroad crossing, keep following the road until you see a brown Forest Service sign on the right hand side of the road. Turn left off of the old highway 95 and follow the road until it turns to dirt and forms a Y intersection. Take forest service road 402, on the left going up the hill for about 2 miles. There is no definite parking lot, just a pull out near the trail head. (I attached a picture of it). It's beautiful and about a mile hike to the lower and upper falls. Myrtle Creek/Bottleneck Lake and Snow Lake: Hefty views of the Selkirk Crest. Quite a scramble to get to the top for the views, but well worth it.
