Tapper Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay High Country Motel is a glorious choice, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Big Wood River. At Tapper Lake you don’t see much rainfall; January is when you get the most snow here, and July on the other hand is the driest. A great spot to camp here at Tapper Lake is Riverside RV Campground. | | water scenery at Sonner Dam, and if you get bored of Tapper Lake you could also pop by close by Johnson Reservoir. During the warm days of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Tapper Lake, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Tapper Lake. Come On Inn is a great spot to get some rest, and paddling on Little Wood River is so much fun.
