There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Bitterroot Range. Go for a hike on the Storm Peak Trail; get drenched paddling on St.  
   Joe River.
Swimming Bear Lake is a beautiful lake in the Bitterroot Range. All through the months of summer here at Swimming Bear Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Swimming Bear Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things
 
               at Swimming Bear Lake. A pretty lake like Moore Lake close to Swimming Bear Lake is a tremendous place to check out, and don't leave Swimming Bear Lake without first going for a hike along the Cedar Creek Stock Driveway.
