Swimming Bear Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The Storm Peak Trail is a great hiking trail next to Swimming Bear Lake, and the top of Indian Peak is easily seen from Swimming Bear Lake. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Bitterroot Range. Why not camp at Spruce Tree Campground since you're here at Swimming Bear Lake, and Super 8 Motel - St. Regis is a good place to get some rest.

| | This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, St. Joe River offers some wonderful whitewater, and camping at Swimming Bear Lake is tremendous fun, Fly Flat Campground is a tremendous local campground.
