Bear Lake is in the neighborhood, and a wonderful place to camp here at Swimm Lake is Lower O'Brien Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Salmon River - Yankee Fork, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Yellow Belly Trail. Head up to Sun Valley and strap some skis to your feet; Swimm Lake is good enough to       spend more than a day at, Marshall Creek Campground is a good local campground. A nice spot like Iron Basin here at Swimm Lake is too pleasant to miss, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Bull Moose Trail. At Swimm Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 70's while night lows are usually in the 30's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Swimm Lake. Don't stop me now, cause I'm                  havin' a good time here at Swimm Lake. The summit of Watson Peak can be spotted from Swimm Lake; soar down the rapids of Salmon River in a kayak.
