This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Sun       Valley; Hoodoo Lake is a brilliant lake close by. Whitewater paddling is good on Salmon River - Yankee Fork, and you can stay the night at Marshall Creek Campground. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Swimm Lake. Near Swimm Lake you discover the Yellow Belly Trail which is a great hiking trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Swimm Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lower O'Brien Campground. In case you                  don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River; on a delightful day you obtain a wonderful vista of Watson Peak from Swimm Lake. Swimm Lake gets very little rain; December is the month that gets the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture.
