     Not much rain falls here at Swauger Lakes; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Summertime highs at Swauger Lakes ordinarily tend to be in the 80's, and the night is a bit cooler of course, generally in the 40's. Through the winter highs are mostly in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Swauger Lakes. Nearby Hell Canyon is a good place to go if you're at Swauger Lakes, and  
   why not camp at Wagon wheel Motel and RV Park since you're here at Swauger Lakes.
Swauger Lakes is located in the Lost River Range. So many cool things to do here in the Lost River Range, too fine to be true. There are other locations here than Swauger Lakes, for example Shadow Lakes, and if you came for an overnight stay River Park Golf Course is a nice spot to camp. Craters Of The Moon National Monument is a tremendous local destination here at Swauger
 
               Lakes.
This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Snowbank Trail, and lakes are such calm places, why not have a look at Dry Creek Reservoir.

I'm trying to find out some info from someone who has done the loop or semi loop, what I'm doing, wondering what the creek crossings are going to be like. I'm going about as early as you should in mid June so I'm wondering what its going to be like. doesn't matter cause I'm going anyway but just wanna be prepared. I've got years of pack experience so weather isn't a factor. As long as I can drive to the trail head fine and the trail isn't covered too much in snow....
