Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Cave Lake, and Swan Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Beauty Creek Campground is a glorious local campground. Going for a hike on the Caribou Ridge National Recreation Trail is always a glorious adventure, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Coeur d'Alene. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on       the English Point National Recreation Trail. If you came to camp Rainy Hill Campground is a magnificent place to do that, and Swan Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at. At Swan Lake throughout the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Swan                  Lake temperatures sink to the 20's. A fine close by hotel is The Coeur d'Alene Resort; paddling on St. Maries River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Swan Lake without first going for a hike along the White Pine Scenic Drive, and the view of Swan Peak is gorgeous. Swan Lake is a good location of common rain; the wettest month of the year is usually December, that's the one that snows the most, and July is the month with the least moisture. Just can't get enough of Swan Lake.
