This lake is so wonderful. Portneuf River is a great whitewater spot near Swan Lake, and you're sure to come across some wonderful folks from Logan here. Throughout the summer at Swan Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's; the overnight is rather chillier of course, regularly in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's       while Swan Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bear River, and Downata Hot Springs is a wonderful local campground. Around Swan Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; most of the rain falls during May; August is when it's the driest. A fine close by hotel is Riverside Hot Springs Inn, and if you've had enough                  of Swan Lake, Oxford Reservoir is nearby. So many entertaining things to do at Swan Lake, so little time.
