Copper Mountain is easy to spot from Swamp Lake; going for a hike along the Blue Bunch Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. Have a good hiking adventure along the Bear Valley Creek Trail, and Thatcher Creek Campground is a great campground here. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Swamp Lake you can take a hike along the Camptender Trail, and in the event that       you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River - Middle Fork. From a precipitation point of view Swamp Lake is a quite typical location; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow; July meanwhile is the driest month. The Sawtooth Range scenery is always beautiful. Just can't get enough of Swamp Lake. Do stop at Kelly Lake close to Swamp Lake, it's a delightful lake, and dry warm beds await                  you at Danner's Log Cabin Motel. Summertime highs at Swamp Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Swamp Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Sawtooth Range is excellent! Marsh Creek is a nice whitewater spot right next door to Swamp Lake. Now, you may believe that's a load but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Sawtooth Range.
