Swamp Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the Sawtooth Range has to offer. Going for a hike along the Camptender Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. There's so much to do here at Swamp Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Thatcher Creek Campground is a pleasant spot for that. The annual precipitation here at Swamp Lake is about average;
