Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Salmon River Mountains is so good!. A journey to Stub Creek Spring will fill your soul with great feelings, and you're in all probability hooked on lakes, Basin Lake is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Swamp Angel Lake has to offer, you can camp at Parrot Placer Campground,       and why not take a refreshing hike along the Black Butte Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon River Mountains. From a rainfall point of view Swamp Angel Lake is a rather normal spot; during the month of January you get the most snow around here; the driest month is July. Stay the night at Papoose Creek Campground, and whitewater paddling is nice on Monumental Creek. That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Swamp                  Angel Lake has it all. Good hiking is available along the Farrow Mountain Trail; paddling on Big Creek is so much fun. Through the months of summer at Swamp Angel Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Swamp Angel Lake temperatures descend to the 10's. Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Salmon River Mountains.
