Go to Summit Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Summit Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and the driest of the months is July. All year is a brilliant time in the Salmon River Mountains if you like the outdoors. Dry warm beds await you at Waterhole Lodge, and Boulder Summit is clearly visible from Summit Lake. | | the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter for Summit Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon River Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Lake is Lake Fork Campground. So much enjoyable stuff to do here at Summit Lake, too great to be true. Why not camp at Kennally Creek Campground while you're here at Summit Lake, and do take a hike on the Buckhorn Trail. Life's
too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Salmon River Mountains. There are other locations here than Summit Lake, for example Buckhorn Mountain Lake, and Payette River - North Fork has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot
nearby. Hatfield Guest Cabins is a magnificent place to get some rest, also Molony Dam is worth visiting if you're here. You can never get enough of the great skiing at Brundage Mountain, and while you're here you can take a hike
along the Boulder Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Paddy Flat Lake Fork Trail.
