Summit Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Summit Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Summit Lake descend into the 10's. There's whitewater on Payette River - North Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and the Buckhorn Trail offers hiking at its best. So

This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Lake Fork Campground, and Summit Lake is not the only spot nearby, Kennally Lakes is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds

to enjoy all the fun things in the Salmon River Mountains. The skiing at Brundage Mountain is perfect; you obtain a delightful panorama of Boulder Summit from here. An average amount of rain falls at Summit Lake; the month with most of the snow is January, and July is when it's the driest.
