Summit Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Summit Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Summit Lake descend into the 10's. There's whitewater on Payette River - North Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and the Buckhorn Trail offers hiking at its best. So

Summit Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. Molony Dam is a place that is next to Summit Lake; a lake nearby is Rapid Lake.
