Storm Lake is one of the lakes here in the Bitterroot Range. Storm Lake gets a common amount of yearly rain; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Spruce Creek Lakes; in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on White Sand Creek. Having a great time

Tag Alder Lake
 | 14 miles away I venture up to Tag Alder every year. It is getting more and more difficult to get up there because of the new growth of trees from the fires of 2000. Once there it is beautiful lake. Another half hour hike up and you will be at the summit of the mountain. There is a nice camp area on North shore. Fishing is best in late spring using small spinners or powerbait.... |
