That right there is a load of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Lemhi Range has it all. A tour to Craters Of The Moon National Monument is worthwhile; close by you hit upon the Snowbank Trail which is a great hiking trail. Throughout the summer at Stone Reservoir highs are typically in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 40's. High temperatures all through the wintertime       are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Stone Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful site to camp here at Stone Reservoir is Big Eightmile Campground. This lake is located in the wonderful Lemhi Range. Take a little tour to Middle Fork Little Timber Creek while you're here at Stone Reservoir; why not camp at Big Creek Campground if you're here at Stone Reservoir.
