The amount of rain that falls at Stoddard Lake is close to the national average; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow; the driest of the months is July. Yeah, come up here to the Salmon River Mountains for a great time. You get a nice panorama of Twin Peak from Stoddard Lake, and if you need a place to stay Darling Creek Bed & Breakfast is a nice choice. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Salmon       River Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. There's wonderful hiking along the Farrow Mountain Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Parrot Placer Campground is a splendid place to camp. A lovely lake like Cottonwood Lake in close proximity to Stoddard Lake is a tremendous location to have a look at, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Stoddard Lake; Black Butte Trail is a great local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing                  hike along the Goat Creek Trail, and why not camp at Papoose Creek Campground if you're here at Stoddard Lake. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are in fact abundant here at Stoddard Lake. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Monumental Creek, and get covered with water paddling on Big Creek. At Stoddard Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 30's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Stoddard Lake.
