You       can run the rapids of Monumental Creek near Stoddard Lake, and if you get bored of Stoddard Lake you could also stop by nearby Swamp Angel Lake. You simply must adore the Salmon River Mountains. This lake is one of the great places here in the Salmon River Mountains. A delightful site for whitewater paddling close to Stoddard Lake is Big Creek, and wonderful hiking is available along the Goat Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight                  stay Parrot Placer Campground is a delightful place to camp; there are delightful spots to look at along the Farrow Mountain Trail. Stoddard Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently January, that's the one that snows the most; the driest month of the year is July. Throughout the warm days of summer at Stoddard Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 30's.
