This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Salmon River; going for a hike on the Bull Moose Trail is always a glorious adventure. A lake nearby is Bench Lake, and there's whitewater on Salmon River for all you adrenaline junkies. Stevens Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Sawtooth Range. From a rainfall point of view Stevens Lakes is a relatively                  normal spot; throughout January this area sees the most snow; the driest month of the year is July. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Sawtooth Range. Don't leave Stevens Lakes without first paying a visit to Baron Creek Falls. And if that's not sufficient there's plenty more exciting things to do in the Sawtooth Range. If you get bored of Stevens Lakes, you could also stop by close by Lily Lake, and Grand Mogul is a peak you can make out from Stevens Lakes. Be careful coming to Stevens Lakes, you might not ever want to return home again.
