Don't leave Stevens Lakes without first paying a visit to Baron Creek Falls; if you came for an overnight stay Heyburn Mountain Campground is a pleasant spot to camp.       Paddling on Salmon River is so much fun, and as expected, this is a perfect area for people who like lakes, Bench Lake is a lake around here. Get soaked paddling on Salmon River, and probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Lily Lake is just a very short distance away. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Sawtooth Range. Hiking along the Yellow Belly Trail is wonderful fun, and at Stevens Lakes you can                  catch a glimpse of Grand Mogul. All through the summer highs here at Stevens Lakes get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Stevens Lakes. The annual precipitation here at Stevens Lakes is about average; through the month of January you get the most snow around here; July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
