     Idaho has many beautiful lakes and Steele Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. There are perfect locations to explore along the West Boundary Trail, and if you've had enough of Steele Lake, Thompson Hole is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Squirrel Creek Elk Ranch is a nice place to spend a night or two, and you can go for a hike on the Boundary Creek Trail.
Gotta ski! Grand Targhee is a great place to do that, and
 
   why not take a little trip to Dog Creek since you're here. The amount of precipitation that falls at Steele Lake is close to the national average; through the month of January you get the most snow around here; the driest month is July. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Falls River. There's so much to do here at Steele Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bear Gulch Campground is a great  
               spot for that.
If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great planet it would be. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Steele Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cave Falls Campground, and if you need a site to stay Stegelmeier Farmhouse Inn is a great choice. Bitch Creek is a fine whitewater spot near Steele Lake, and nice hiking is available along the Bechler River Trail. At Steele Lake throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Steele Lake.
