Steele Lake is a nice lake to visit. While you're here at Steele Lake you can take a hike along the Bechler River Trail, and Steele Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Squirrel Creek Guest Ranch and Inn is a nice local campground. This spot is excellent, just explore all the entertaining things to do close to Steele Lake. Hiking along the West Boundary Trail is wonderful fun; there are other sites here than Steele Lake, for example Thompson Hole.

| | Teton Mountain View Lodge is a nice place to get some rest, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bitch Creek. wonderful. There's so much to do here at Steele Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cave Falls Campground is a great place for that, and Falls River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Steele Lake with night lows in the 40's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Steele Lake. Take a little visit to Dog Creek while you're here at Steele Lake; dry warm beds await you at Grand Targhee Ski And Summer Resort.
