A visit to Star Lake is always a good idea. It is very dry here at Star Lake typically; through the month of January you get the most snow around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. If you need a location to stay Wingate by Wyndham - Twin Falls is a wonderful choice, and if you come at the right time of year, Wilson River offers some good whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Star Lake is not the only site nearby, Teal Reservoir is a nearby lake.

| | High temperatures at Star Lake all through the long summer days are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Star Lake are in the 10's. A splendid close by hotel is Jerome Days Inn, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Snake River. | |
