You'll need more than a day to look at everything Standard Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Dirt Oven Campground, and there are great locations to look at along the Hanna Flast Nature Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Standard Lakes is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Indian Creek Campground       is a brilliant place to camp nearby, and going for a hike on the Chipmunk Rapids National Recreation Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Summertime highs at Standard Lakes frequently tend to be in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's while Standard Lakes nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. Head up to Schweitzer and strap some skis to your feet.
