rather arid place; most of the rain falls during November while July is frequently the driest month. People from Coeur d'Alene love to come to Stampede Lake; Blue Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to.
This lake is so wonderful.
In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pack River. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Grouse Mountain Trail is magnificent fun, and if you like skiing, you're in luck;
Schweitzer is relatively near. If you're here at Stampede Lake, you could visit Fall Creek, and Stampede Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Bonners Ferry Resort is a good local campground.
