Many people like to go to Stampede Lake. So many amusing things to do at Stampede Lake, so little time. Float down the rapids of Pack River in a kayak; there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Grouse Mountain Trail. Lakes are brilliant; Dennick Lake is a lake that's close to Stampede Lake; tremendous skiing awaits you at Schweitzer. Paddling on Pack River is so much fun, and the Upper North Fork Grouse Creek Trail is a nice hiking trail nearby.

| | Stampede Lake is a location that is relatively arid generally; most of the rain falls all through November, and the driest month of the year is July. Lots of folks from Coeur d'Alene come to Stampede Lake; if you need a site to stay Best Western Kootenai River Inn & Casino is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Deep Creek Campground, and a pleasant nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SANDPOINT NORTH.

is so wonderful. On a perfect day at Stampede Lake you can take a hike along the White Mountain Trail. Through the summer at Stampede Lake highs are commonly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. For the duration
of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Stampede Lake temperatures dip to the 20's. If you came for an overnight stay Blue Lake RV Park is a good place to camp, and why not take a little tour to Fall Creek since you're here.
