Do stop by Squaw Lake while you're in this part of Idaho. Be careful coming to Squaw Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. If the weather is splendid here at Squaw Lake, you can go for a hike along the Crestline Trail; you can take a little visit to Box Lake Dam since you're here at Squaw Lake. year brings highs in the 90's to Squaw Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Squaw Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter
nights.
These mountains rock, just check out all the amusing things to do in the Salmon River Mountains. Going for a hike along the Fall Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Black Lee Campground
is a tremendous campground here. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant nearby hotel is Best Western Inn. Squaw Lake is a pleasant spot to camp, Lake Fork Campground is a pleasant spot, and if you need a place to stay Hatfield Guest
Cabins is a pleasant choice.
Hiking along the Box Lake Trail is tremendous fun, and whitewater paddling is nice on Payette River - North Fork.
