Meadow Creek Campground is a good campground nearby, and if you come at the right time of year, Moyie River offers some splendid whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Copper Creek Trail. It is very arid here at Spruce Lake typically; through November this area sees the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. Hidden Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Kootenai

is a great local campground. Summertime at Spruce Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Spruce Lake.
