If you are in Boundary county it's always a good idea to stop by Spruce Lake. Summer at Spruce Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. The Ruby Ridge Trail is a perfect hiking trail close to Spruce Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Rutledge Creek Trail is always a great adventure. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Spruce Lake has to offer, you can camp at Copper Creek Campground. | |

Near Spruce Lake you discover the Copper Creek Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and in case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Moyie River. This is no site for people who don’t like to have
a good time. If you need a place to stay Sandpoint Super 8 Motel is a great choice. There's so much to do here at Spruce Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Meadow Creek Campground is a great spot for that.
