    Spruce Gulch Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. A nice close by hotel is Darling Creek Bed & Breakfast, and Eddy Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Salmon River Mountains. After a long day outdoors Rainbow's End Bed & Breakfast is a great site to spend a night or two; you can go for a hike on the Singheiser Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything  
   Spruce Gulch Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mill Creek Campground; why not visit close by West Fork Creek since you're here at Spruce Gulch Lake.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Salmon River Mountains. There are some great whitewater spots on Camas Creek. This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains. Yeah, come here to Spruce Gulch Lake for a great time. There's so much to do here at Spruce Gulch Lake that you need to camp here
 
               for a while, Blowfly Campground is a great spot for that, and at Spruce Gulch Lake you can see Twin Peaks.
It is very arid here at Spruce Gulch Lake usually; most of the snow falls through December; the driest month is July. Going for a hike on the Twin Buttes Trail is always a splendid adventure, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Salmon River - Yankee Fork. All through the long summer days at Spruce Gulch Lake highs are typically in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Spruce Gulch Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights.
