Camping at Fort Lolo Hot Springs is always a pleasant experience. Lakes? Sure, Grimes Lake is nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Bitterroot Range. Whitewater paddling is perfect on White Sand Creek, and Spruce Creek Lakes is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Lee Creek Campground is a pleasant local campground. Through the months of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Spruce Creek Lakes;       during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Spruce Creek Lakes temperatures drop to the 10's. That right there is plenty already, but it continues; Spruce Creek Lakes has it all. On a good day at Spruce Creek Lakes you can take a hike along the Lee Ridge Trail, and Brushy Fork has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by.
