This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Shin Point Trail; you can stay the night at Mush Campground. A great close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - St. Regis, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Dead Mule Trail.
This lake is located in the wonderful Bitterroot Range. High temperatures at Spring Lake throughout the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are regularly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Spring Lake are in the 10's.
