Spring Lake truly is in the middle of a lovely outdoors paradise. Super 8 Motel - St. Regis is a good location to get some rest. Summertime highs at Spring Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Spring Lake. Get       drenched paddling on Clearwater River - North Fork, and camping at Hidden Creek Campground is always a magnificent experience. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Bitterroot Range. Good hiking is available along the Shin Point Trail, and the vista of Cold Springs Peak is charming. Go for a hike on the Dead Mule Trail; soar down the rapids of Kelly Creek in a kayak. From a precipitation point of view Spring Lake is a quite normal place; the month of January                  is the wettest with most of the snow while July is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You could also go to Cold Lake since you're here at Spring Lake; it's close by, and if you came to camp Mush Campground is a tremendous spot to do that.
