If you are in this part of Idaho make sure to pay a visit to Spirit Lake. Butterworth Draw is a nice location to explore near Spirit Lake, and a wonderful close by hotel is Comfort Inn Post Falls. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Spokane River. There's so much to do here at Spirit Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Silver Beach Resort is a great site for that. This lake is so wonderful.

| | called Twin Lakes near Spirit Lake; at Spirit Lake you always meet someone from Coeur d'Alene. Do stop by Blanchard Lake in close proximity to Spirit Lake, it's a striking lake; do take a hike on the English Point National Recreation Trail. And if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do right next door to Spirit Lake. If you're a golfer then a splendid nearby course is Twin Lakes Village Golf Course, and if you come at the right time of year, Priest River | |

Spirit Lake gets a common amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites HAYDEN-COEUR
D'ALENE NORTH is a good site to get some rest, and if you came to camp Twin Lakes Mobile Park is a tremendous place to do that. For the period of the warm days of summer at Spirit Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and
the overnight is fairly chillier of course, regularly in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; night lows at Spirit Lake through the winter ordinarily drop into the 10's.

This is a beautiful park that has terraced camping pads nestled in the side of a foothill on wolf bay. The spots are pretty tight and we barely had room to park our Suburban in our site (but we were one of the highest ones and those are smaller). They do have pull thrus as well. The pool wasn't huge but was adequate and not too crowded. They do have two hot tubs as well next to the pool. The 18 hole golf course leaves quite a bit to be desired. They charge $1.00 per person to play but it's in very sad condition and not worth even a buck in my opinion to play. My kids (7 and 2) however had fun just hitting the ball around.... |
