Spangle Lakes is a good site of normal rainfall; January is when you get the most snow here, and July is when it's the driest. Spangle Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Sawtooth Range. A nice site to camp here at Spangle Lakes is Alturas Inlet Campground, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Yellow Belly Trail. Having a magnificent time in the Sawtooth       Range is simple. Looking for some flowing water? Try Flytrip Creek, and there are other places here than Spangle Lakes, for example Spangle Lake. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Sawtooth Range. At Spangle Lakes you can distinguish Glens Peak. Lakes? Sure, Little Spangle Lake is around here. Camping at Powerplant Campground is always a pleasant experience, and skiing at Soldier                  Mountain Ski Resort is one of those things you just should do. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Yuba River Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Salmon River. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Spangle Lakes. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's.
