This lake is one of the great places here in the Clearwater Mountains. From a rainfall point of view South Three Links Lakes is a relatively normal spot; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow; the driest month of the year is July. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more cool things to do here in the Clearwater Mountains. South Three Links Lakes is not the only place nearby, Hjort Lake is a nearby lake, and fine hiking

| | is available along the Anderson Butte National Recreation Trail.
For the period of the summertime months here at South Three Links Lakes, high temperatures typically reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to South Three Links Lakes. weather is wonderful, you acquire a tremendous view of The Crags from South Three Links Lakes, and there are glorious locations to explore along the East Boyd Glover Roundtop National Recreation Trail.
This lake is so wonderful.
You'll need more than a day to look at everything South Three Links Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Race Track Campground, and you could always look at Jesse Pass. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Race Creek Campground,
and a lake close by is Legend Lake.
Get dripping wet paddling on Lochsa River, and Canteen Meadows is a delightful place any time of year.
