It is very dry here at Solomon Lake typically; November is the wettest month with most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. The peak of Solomon Mountain can be seen from Solomon Lake, and a nice nearby hotel is Best Western Kootenai River Inn & Casino. This lake is so wonderful. Bonner Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. There's so much to do here at Solomon Lake that you       need to camp here for a while, Meadow Creek Campground is a nice site for that. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Kootenai, and hiking along the Burro Ridge Trail is perfect fun. Any time is a perfect time at Solomon Lake if you love the outdoors. Solomon                  Lake is right by the Rutledge Creek Trail, and there's some flowing water close by, Solomon Creek is a stream you can pop by during your stay. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Solomon Lake, you could also explore wonderful Perkins Lake. During the summer months here at Solomon Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Solomon Lake.
