This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Salmon River - Middle Fork, and if you came for an overnight stay Lola Creek Campground is a delightful place to camp. From a precipitation point of view Soldier Lakes is a relatively normal location; January is when you get the most snow here, and the driest month of                  the year is July. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Soldier Lakes while nighttime lows are frequently in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's; night lows during the wintertime for Soldier Lakes tend to be in the 10's.
