Summer overnight lows drop down to the 40's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Snowbank Lake tend to be in the 10's. This spot, the Sawtooth Range, has so much outdoors cool things. Camping at Powerplant Campground is always a great experience, and the peak of Blacknose Mountain can be observed from Snowbank Lake. So much       entertaining stuff to do in the Sawtooth Range, not sufficient time. Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument is a nice local destination here at Snowbank Lake. Be careful coming to Snowbank Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again. This is a great neighborhood for people who like lakes. Cliff Lake is a lake nearby; going for a hike on the Hot Springs Creek Trail is always a good adventure. Nearby lakes? Sure, Island Lake is next to Snowbank Lake,                  and why not stop at The Hole also since you're here. Camping is available at Queens River Campground; the Black Warrior Creek Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. The Sawtooth Range scenery is always beautiful. Snowbank Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month with most of the snow is January while July is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
