Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Skyland Lake while overnight lows are regularly in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Skyland Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll locate a pretty lake called Mallard Lake near Skyland Lake. Martin Peak is relatively in close proximity to Skyland Lake, and the Shin Point Trail offers hiking at its best. These mountains rock, just look at all the fun stuff

July. Having a perfect time at Skyland Lake is easy. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Old Montana Trail, and let's not forget Falls Creek which is a stream that you may encounter while you're here. This lake is so wonderful.
Mallard Peak can be distinguished from Skyland Lake; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend St. Joe River. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Bitterroot
Range. A delightful lake like Fawn Lake near Skyland Lake is a good site to explore, and if you come at the right time of year, Clearwater River - North Fork offers some magnificent whitewater.
