Good hiking is available along the Waterfall Trail; soar down the rapids of Panther Creek in a kayak. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Salmon River Mountains. Get soaked paddling on Camas Creek, and Echo Lake is a wonderful lake nearby. Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is abundant here in the Salmon River Mountains. All the outdoors fun things near Skyhigh Lake will keep       you coming back persistently. There are great places to look at along the Ship Island Trail, and you can go for a hike on the South Fork Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Skyhigh Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Yellowjacket Campground is a good spot for that; if the weather is beautiful, you obtain a great sight of Puddin Mountain from Skyhigh Lake. For the period of the warm months at Skyhigh Lake highs are usually                  in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Skyhigh Lake drop into the 0's. Skyhigh Lake gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls through June while February is ordinarily the driest month. If you came to camp Crags Campground is a good place to do that. Lakes?
