Skyhigh Lake is pretty dry frequently; during the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Skyhigh Lake. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 40's. During the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Skyhigh Lake tend to be in the 0's. You completely       have to like Skyhigh Lake. Airplane Lake is a glorious lake in the vicinity of Skyhigh Lake. If the weather is perfect here at Skyhigh Lake, you can go for a hike along the South Fork Trail, and camping at Crags Campground is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. Camas Creek has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you came to camp Yellowjacket Campground is a nice place to do that. Puddin Mountain is a peak you can make out                  from Skyhigh Lake, and the Waterfall Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. Skyhigh Lake is located in the Salmon River Mountains. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Salmon River Mountains.
