    It's always fun to stop by Skein Lake. Camping at Water's Edge RV Resort is always a nice experience, and if you need a site to stay Mccall Super 8 Lodge is a good choice. Man, is there a lot of enjoyable stuff to do in the Salmon River Mountains. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Payette River - North Fork; you can catch a sight of Collier Peak from Skein Lake. Summertime at Skein Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows  
   drop down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Skein Lake tend to be in the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. The Campbell Creek Trail is a pleasant hiking trail next to Skein Lake, and places like Stewarts Meadow are good to stop by. Very great water scenery is available at Skein Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Skein Lake, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Willow
 
               Creek Trail. So much amusing stuff in the neighborhood of Skein Lake, completely incredible. There is a magnificent hiking trail right next door to Skein Lake called the Campbell Trail, and if you came to camp Lake Cascade State Park is a great location to do that.
You just should go for the Salmon River Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Payette River - North Fork offers some tremendous whitewater, and dry warm beds await you at Ashley Inn. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains.
From a precipitation point of view Skein Lake is a reasonably common location; the month with most of the snow is January while July is commonly the driest month.
