     Camp Crescendo is a wonderful local campground, and there are good places to discover along the Shirts Creek Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Payette River; what would winter be without some skiing at Tamarack. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Bogus Basin is a good place to do that, and if you came for an overnight stay Hi Valley RV Park is a pleasant site to camp. There are plenty of folks from Boise City-Nampa here at Siphon Lakes, and going  
   for a hike on the Hulls Gulch Nature Trail is always a magnificent adventure.
This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Siphon Lakes without first going for a hike along the Dry Buck Mountain Trail. You'll discover a pretty lake called Lake Elmore near Siphon Lakes, and a tremendous close by hotel is US Suites Boise. Man, is there a load of amusing stuff to do near Siphon Lakes. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not pop by Home Lake in close proximity to
 
               Siphon Lakes; if you need a place to stay SpringHill Suites Boise is a great choice.
Not much precipitation falls here at Siphon Lakes; all through November this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. Summertime highs at Siphon Lakes frequently tend to be in the 90's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Siphon Lakes.

When Tamarack Resort opened in December 2004, it was the first all-season resort to open in the U.S. in more than two decades. Tamarack features mountain, meadow and lake, and has the distinction of being a rare destination resort with ski, golf, lake, village, and lodging amenities all located in extremely close proximity.
