Tamarack is a nice local ski area, and why not camp at Camp Crescendo if you're here at Siphon Lakes. A glorious spot to camp here at Siphon Lakes is Hi Valley RV Park, and Siphon Lakes is not far at all from Boise City-Nampa. Good hiking is available along the Hulls Gulch Nature Trail, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling       on Payette River. The skiing at Bogus Basin is great, and after a long day outdoors US Suites Boise is a good place to spend a night or two. Siphon Lakes is a location that is pretty arid generally; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. The Dry Buck Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best. High temperatures at Siphon Lakes through the summertime are in the 90's with overnight lows in the                  50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Siphon Lakes are in the 10's. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Siphon Lakes is so good!
