Sure, Golden Lake is near Silver Lake, and Silver Lake is a nice site to visit for more than one day, Jackson Landing Campground is a nice site to camp nearby. You're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Swan Lake is one of those close by; Island Park Village Resort is a good spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Coyote Gulch is near Silver Lake and is a good place, and dry warm beds await you at Anglers Lodge. Silver Lake is generally       a quite dehydrated spot; most of the rain falls during June; February meanwhile is the driest month. Summertime at Silver Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Silver Lake. Hiking along the Dry Creek Trail is tremendous fun, and Silver Lake is not far at all from Rexburg. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike                  along the Willow Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and if you're here, you could visit East Thurmon Creek. If the weather is glorious here at Silver Lake, you can go for a hike along the Tin Cup Trail, and Henrys Fork is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Silver Lake.
