Siah Lake is always a pleasure to visit. If you come at the right time of year, Brushy Fork offers some brilliant whitewater, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Hamilton is a good choice. So many fun things to do here in the Bitterroot Range, too perfect to be true. Get yourself into a kayak and hit White Sand Creek. There's so much to do here at Siah Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lee Creek Campground is a fine site for that. The

All year is a tremendous time in the Bitterroot Range if you love the outdoors. Siah Lake is one of the lakes here in the Bitterroot Range. 10's. This lake is so wonderful. There is a nice hiking trail in the neighborhood of Siah Lake called the Sally Ridge Trail, and Siah Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Fort Lolo Hot Springs is a magnificent local
campground. Yeah, come here to Siah Lake for a good time. Near Siah Lake you find the Granite Ridge Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, needless to say you could also pop by Ranger Lake if you're here; it's not far at all.

 | 16 miles away I venture up to Tag Alder every year. It is getting more and more difficult to get up there because of the new growth of trees from the fires of 2000. Once there it is beautiful lake. Another half hour hike up and you will be at the summit of the mountain. There is a nice camp area on North shore. Fishing is best in late spring using small spinners or powerbait.... |
