It's always fun to stop by Shirts Lake. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Salmon River Mountains. There's so much to do here at Shirts Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Water's Edge RV Resort is a good place for that, and if you've had enough of Shirts Lake, Skein Lake is close by. This lake is located in the wonderful Salmon River Mountains.
Mccall Super 8 Lodge is a great place to get some rest, and

| | it's a fine idea to visit Bed Ground Creek. Shirts Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; the month with most of the snow is January, and July is when it's the driest. There are good locations to discover along the Willow Creek Trail; there are some brilliant whitewater spots on Payette River - North Fork.

thrill seekers. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Shirts Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Shirts Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Cascade State Park,
and you can go for a hike on the Campbell Creek Trail. For the duration of the warm months at Shirts Lake highs are usually in the 80's, and the night is fairly chillier of course, mostly in the 40's. The winter brings highs down
to the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Shirts Lake drop into the 10's.
That right there is a load of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Salmon River Mountains has it all. The summit of Collier
Peak can be seen from Shirts Lake, also Skein Lake Dam is worth stopping at since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant spree to Stewarts Meadow is a great way to spend an afternoon, and going for a hike on the Wilson Creek Trail is always a great adventure.
