Shewag Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Broken Arrow Resort is a good local campground, and Best Western Hamilton Inn is a nice place to get some rest. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Shewag Lake. But wait, there's more enjoyable stuff to do in the Bitterroot Range. N Mountain is clearly visible from Shewag Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along       the Daly Creek Trail. Shewag Lake is one of the lakes here in the Bitterroot Range. This lake is so wonderful. Blacktail Creek is a scenic stream that is worth going to, and do take a hike on the Moose Creek Trail. At Shewag Lake all through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 30's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Shewag Lake dipping down into the                  0's through winter nights. Camping at Wagonhammer Campground is always a tremendous experience, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Shewag Lake; Big Hole National Recreation Trail is a great local trail.
