There's brilliant hiking along the Bear Hole Trail, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Taylor Creek Trail. At Sheridan Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; June is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Through the long summer days highs here at Sheridan Reservoir get into the 70's; during summer nights temperatures are in       the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Sheridan Reservoir temperatures dip to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Island Park Village Resort is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Sheridan Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, East Camos Campground is a fine site for that. This lake is one of the                  great places here in the Bitterroot Range. So many enjoyable things in the Bitterroot Range, just extraordinary. The East Sheridan Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and you can stay the night at Upper Lake Campground. Take a little visit to East Fork Sheridan Creek since you're here at Sheridan Reservoir, and Sheridan Dam is a striking place.
