This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Panther Creek       in a kayak, and the South Fork Trail offers hiking at its best. A tremendous site to camp here at Sheepeater Lake is Yellowjacket Campground; hiking is a popular thing to do around Sheepeater Lake; Waterfall Trail is a wonderful local trail. Sheepeater Lake is pretty waterless frequently; June is the wettest month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things truly is abundant here in the Salmon River Mountains.
