Massacre Mountain is clearly visible from Shadow Lakes; while you're here, you might as well have a look at Hell Canyon. Why not camp at Bear Creek Campground if you're here at Shadow Lakes. Shadow Lakes is one of the lakes here in the Lost River Range. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Shadow Lakes,       you'll discover Swauger Lakes which is a striking lake, and if you came for an overnight stay White Knob Motel and Trailer Park is a tremendous spot to camp. High temperatures at Shadow Lakes through the summertime are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Shadow Lakes are in the 0's. Just can't get enough of the Lost River Range.
