Seven Lakes

Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Clearwater Mountains. Seven Lakes is a magnificent site to visit for more than one day, Green Flat Campground is a magnificent site to camp nearby. Old Man Meadows is a splendid location to stretch your legs a bit; stopping by Clearwater National Forest is a perfect thing to do. There's a perfect 9-mile-long category III-IV whitewater bit on Lochsa River close by, the Wilderness Gateway bridge to Split Creek Pack Bridge
portion. Whitewater boaters on this bit of Lochsa River should boast a bit of knowledge in raft paddling. Whitewater rapids are hazardous things, so you should check conditions before you go.
