Super 8 Motel - St. Regis is a splendid spot to get some rest. High temperatures at Seed lake during the summer are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Seed lake are in the 10's. You truly should have a thing about the Bitterroot Range. Whitewater       paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend St. Joe River, and a tremendous location to camp here at Seed lake is Hidden Creek Campground. An average amount of rainfall falls at Seed lake; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest month of the year is July. Seed lake is not the only site nearby, Copper Lake is a nearby lake, and nearby you come across the Cedar Creek Stock Driveway which is a splendid                  hiking trail. There's whitewater on Clearwater River - North Fork for all you thrill seekers; Seed lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Spruce Tree Campground is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Heather Lake, and a tremendous sight of scenic Bacon Peak is available.
