There are some delightful whitewater spots on Coeur d'Alene River, and the slopes of Silver Mountain are so inviting noone can resist. And if that's not enough there's plenty more fun stuff to do in the Bitterroot Range. Near Schlicht Lake you find the Blacktail Creek Trail which is a splendid hiking trail; close by you stumble on Cabinet Gorge which is a great place to pop by. Just can't get enough       of the Bitterroot Range. Going for a hike on the Coeur d'Alene River National Recreation Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and if you need a location to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Kellogg is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Delyle Campground, and one of the principal features of the surroundings of Schlicht Lake is Sugarloaf Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Cabinet Gorge Dam has good water scenery and it's                  near Schlicht Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Couer d'Alene River - Big North Fork offers some good whitewater. At Schlicht Lake throughout the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, commonly in the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are generally in the 30's, and overnight lows at Schlicht Lake through the winter regularly plunge into the 20's. From a rainfall point of view Schlicht Lake is a pretty normal spot; most of the snow falls through December; July is the month with the least moisture. All the outdoors amusing things near Schlicht Lake will keep you coming back time and again. Go for a hike on the Alpine Trail; a brilliant site to camp here at Schlicht Lake is River Delta Resort.
