At Schlicht Lake throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are commonly in the 30's with temperatures at Schlicht Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Delyle Campground is always a nice experience, and Cabinet Gorge is another great place to stop at nearby.       And if that's not enough there's lots more amusing stuff to do in the Bitterroot Range. If you come at the right time of year, Couer d'Alene River - Big North Fork offers some good whitewater; Schlicht Lake is not the only place nearby, Cabinet Gorge Reservoir is a nearby lake. Schlicht Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, River Delta Resort is a tremendous local campground, and do take a hike on the Coeur d'Alene River National Recreation Trail.                  If you fancy the outdoors, you'll go for Schlicht Lake. There are some fine whitewater spots on Coeur d'Alene River, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Alpine Trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Blacktail Creek Trail, and on a beautiful day you get a fine view of Sugarloaf Mountain from Schlicht Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The scenery at Cabinet Gorge Dam near Schlicht Lake is beautiful, and after a long day outdoors Baymont Inn & Suites Kellogg is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. This lake is located in the wonderful Bitterroot Range. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Schlicht Lake; the month with most of the snow is December; July meanwhile is the driest month. Now, you may believe that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Bitterroot Range.
