Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is bountiful here in the Sawtooth Range. One of the overriding marks of the surroundings of Scenic Lake is Browns Peak. There's so much to do here at Scenic Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Powerplant Campground is a good site for that. Scenic Lake is a good site of common rainfall; through January this area sees the most snow while July is mostly the driest month.       Throughout the warm months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Scenic Lake with overnight lows in the 40's. Highs all through the winter are mostly in the 30's with temperatures at Scenic Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Black Warrior Creek Trail; if time allows, Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument is a national park worth going to. Have a great hiking adventure along the Yuba River Trail,                  and if you're here you can take a hike along the Hot Springs Creek Trail. If you came to camp Queens River Campground is a good site to do that, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Browns Lake is just a very short distance away. The Sawtooth Range scenery is always beautiful.
