If you are traveling by, why not stop by Sand Lake. Bloom Creek flows through this area. There's so much to do here at Sand Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Deep Creek Campground is a perfect place for that. A nice location for whitewater paddling near Sand Lake is Pack River, and you're sure to stumble upon some friendly people from Coeur d'Alene here. This lake is so wonderful. Have a fine hiking adventure along the White Mountain Trail; if you came to camp Bonners Ferry Resort is a good place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Pack River is a nice whitewater spot near Sand Lake, and there are other places here than Sand Lake, for example Beaver Lake.

around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Sand Lake. While you're here at Sand Lake you can take a hike along the Grouse Mountain Trail, and Best Western
Kootenai River Inn & Casino is a wonderful spot to get some rest. At Sand Lake throughout the summer months highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with temperatures
at Sand Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights.
Here at Sand Lake you can spot Sand Mountain, and do take a hike on the Upper North Fork Grouse Creek Trail.
